Hi! I am Reeya Rajbanshi. I’m an 8th grade student at Hopkins Middle School. I am the head writer and publicity manager of the Hawk Editorial. I have a passion for writing and editing. Some of my favorite hobbies are playing basketball and reading.

Hi! My name is Allison but you can call me Ally. I am a 7th grader and your Layout Team Commissioner. I was in the Hawk Editorial last year and I was able to meet Leina, Stuti, and Anwesha and fully embrace the amount of work it takes to run the newspaper. Even though I know that being the Hawk Editorial is time consuming, I truly want to work to make it better. Let's make this year the best year for the Hawk Editorial! I can't wait to work together to make this year amazing!

Hi! My name is Sahara Iyer, I'm currently an 8th grader here at Hopkins Middle School. I make sure our website is always up to date and running smoothly. I work with Allison on the Layout Team to create the physical issues of the newspaper.

Hello! My name is Anish Sahoo, an eighth grader at William Hopkins Middle School in Fremont, California! I enjoy solving complex math problems, participating in science competitions, debating, and writing in various genres. As for hobbies, I play basketball and video games.

FACULTY ADVISOR

Mr. Parekh

Mr. Parekh is a 7th grade English teacher, as well as the Film Production elective teacher. He is the Hawk Editorial's faculty advisor since 2017. Mr. Parekh believes in proofreading, and the power of reading challenging texts to improve your writing.
